Biography
Felipe Ferreira Gonçalves is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin. He earned his Ph.D. from the Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA) in Brazil. Gonçalves's research interests lie at the interface of analysis and number theory, focusing on topics such as packings, uncertainty principles, interpolation, lattices, modular forms, sharp inequalities, bandlimited approximations, sampling, frames, orthogonal polynomials, special functions, numerical optimization applied to number theory, and quasiconformal maps.
